I am taking this out of context, but I would say yes, she was betrayed at every level by her own self. She chose to get involved with a guy beneath her station. Her glands betrayed her common sense, she persisted in a relationship she should have walked away from. She sullied herself by becoming jealous of a woman 1/2 the woman she once was and then lowered herself to the same debased level of skankiness. No small wonder she changed her appearance, could you imagine looking in the mirror and seeing the person who destroyed what once could have been a wonderful life? Juliette/Eve/Hexenwhore or whatever she choses to call herself these days only has herself to blame. She was a scooby and she slit her own throat.
This is an interesting perspective, but I don't consider it a betrayal of self because she got involved with a guy beneath her social station and happened to fall in love with him. She took a risk, I would say that's a quality in her favor. No one has common sense when it comes to being in love. If they did, they wouldn't fall in love, ever.
As for being a Scooby, I never saw her as one. That was an exclusive clique headed by Nick. I'm not saying they weren't nice to her. But she would never be one of them, that was obvious from day one.
I don't believe she betrayed herself at every level, but I do see evidence of self-betrayal, to be sure.
