I just don't see an attraction factor there. It's not just Trubel, Kelly didn't appear to me to be a person who would attract men either. In my opinion, they don't seem to act particularly feminine. They prefer to take a masculine stance in everything, attitude, method of defense, even their way of dressing. The hexenbiest women are much more stylish and it's easy to see why men are attracted to them.
Holy sexism!
Haven't I read comments from you complaining about other commenters including gender bias and stereotypes in their comments?
I'm not trying to pick a fight, but your comment seems intentionally provocative and/or offensive.
Were you trying to create controversy? Or do you genuinely believe what you wrote?
Because to me both Kelly and Trubel are portrayed by very attractive actresses and their toughness just makes them seem cool. Kelly in particular didn't seem masculine, only really strong. She also had a killer maternal instinct, which to me is a very female trait.
I enjoy your lively debate. You both make some valid points. I would side with Irukanji on this one. For me, a woman needs to be feminine. So call me a Male Chauvinist Pig but I am a huge advocate of women. My father's father died when Dad was three. So my grandmother was left with five kids to raise in the depression. She was as tough as they come, all 5'2" of her. Her memory is a source of strength to me. She puts all of the contemporary feminists to shame.
IMHO, real men want real women.
