This season I think Nick Hank will leave the PPD and join Chavez's group as some type of FBI/whatever she is. That was my idea. Wu and Renard will be their inside men giving them the take on wesen crime in Portland, but also connected with Chavez. That's why I wanted to know if your main problem was a real city and or a detective. I was just wondering what plot line change you would prefer to see change of city or end of Nick and Hank as detectives. That was why I ask the question to phase this answer better.(10-29-2015, 10:33 AM)jsgrimm45 Wrote: I've been following this debate with interest.@irukandji you and I likely will never agree on anything (I think maybe we did a couple times) but if I follow your point then if Grimm was some fake city with some fake police dept you wouldn't have much a problem with the series. I could be wrong but that's the take I get from your posts on this. Or would a fantasy police officer detective also be a problem. See I would need to know these answers before a can post an idea I have?
js, let me pose some questions to you. You watch a series where the main character is a detective. That's the information you're given. Based on what you know about detectives, (because the series isn't telling you anything else), how do you think this detective should behave while doing his job? What kind of ethics should he have?
