We will have to agree to disagree.
How do you rate the moral character of the PPD crew in general? It seems they all, (Nick, Renard, Hank and Wu) have left their badges at times. But it is Renard that I find as lacking "goodness." For example he cut off the reaper's ear for not listening.

I can't rate the Portland PD's moral character in general, New Guy. No one can. We only are dealing with a very small handful of men.
Nick's the one who decided he should be a Grimm. He's the catalyst that started it all.
I asked you to rate the four as listed. You know how I rate Nick. Renard is a treacherous villain that cannot be trusted and is a disgrace to PPD. Hank is a good, loyal cop. Wu is a skilled cop and has a good heart. He does not hesitate to risk his life and proved himself in the Royal compound melee. His shotgun execution of that filthy verrat criminal was excellent.
Nick is no mere catalyst, but is the source of inspiration for Team Scoobie as they fight for Truth, Justice and the American Way.
