I'm not against redemption, but I can't see her simply saying she's sorry and the gang automatically forgiving her. And I really didn't like their answer of simply turning her back into the old Juliette. Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong, but if they do that, it means Nick wins. In this case, I don't think he should come out the winner.
Agreed on both counts. I have no idea what they have planned for season 5, but there's a few scenarios they could use.
1) Nick attempts to kill himself, to everyone's shock. This might take the audience off-guard, but after all the bullshit he's been put through, nobody could expect him to keep up the stoic hero act forever. This prompts Rosalee to dig up some obscure "Hexenbiest resurrection" spell that restores Juliette to life. Just when she seems ready to go on another rampage, Rosalee informs her about Nick's suicide attempt, which knocks the wind out of her sails. She's forced to set aside her stronger Hex-impulses to help Nick recuperate.
2) Juliette's parents arrive in Portland, shortly before or after Juliette's resurrection. Initially Juliette tries to push her mother and father away as she pushed Nick away, but after triggering a stroke in her father, she finally realizes how low she's sunk. She begins to make amends with her parents, and in turn Nick.
3) Juliette's "death" was staged by Chavez and Trubel in an attempt to make her disappear from the public eye for a while so she can be properly mentored and treated by seasoned Hexenbiests in a secluded environment. While working under Chavez, she saves a number of lives from various antagonistic forces.
4) Juliette finds a way to resurrect Kelly. This one's pretty far-fetched, I know. This is one mistake she should never be able to really correct, despite all her efforts to do so.
5) Juliette is restored to life in a miraculous feat performed by Diana, but there's a drawback: She's permanently stuck in "woged" mode, while her powers have been negated, leaving her as little more than a horribly deformed woman. After spending a few weeks on the streets as a homeless derelict, she comes crawling back to Nick, who goes through conflicting emotions upon seeing his fiancee alive again. But this time, he doesn't reject her appearance as he did before, allowing Juliette sanctuary in his home while Rosalee searches for a way to stabilize her condition. This would be one way to put the character through an emotional gauntlet that teaches her a brutal course in ignominy and humility.
Hexenadler, I agree with most of what you posted. The only thing I see that Juliette should not do is go back to Nick. I blame him more over this hexenbiest issue than her. Syscrash is right. It was a selfless thing she did in going through with the spell to help him get his powers back. There was absolutely nothing in it for her, other than the misery she had while he was a Grimm. To be honest, I can't recall if he ever expressed any gratitude to her for what she did. If she has to come crawling back, I would like her to go to Monroe and Rosalie, or if it has to be, Sean.
