The only thing that makes me think Juliette didn't plan for death or at least changed her mind halfway through
Is her laughing in nicks face when he can't kill her and says," can't put me out of your misery huh?"
As for the highlander talk I can give you a jist of it irukandji
Highlander story is about special people that are rare, somewhat like we've been shown about the grimms
Part of their gift is they are draw to one another, the only rule being "There can be only one" which leads them to fight one another when they cross paths, killing another one and taking there head gives you there power allowing you to live basically forever
All this is just back story tho what Izzy is comparing it to is highlander has a main main character named Ducan McCloud, been alive for 100's of years, during the show tho he meets other highlander that are friendly and group up with him to fight the bad ones but we typically get to see there lives, as they get introduced they begin getting back stories of there own still leaving ducan as the main character but adding more as they go along
I believe izzy is referring to this, I could be wrong tho, but Trubel for instance or even Kelly, we could have had at least one episode that showed us some of what Kelly lived through in her Grimm life after giving nick up this then would or could have mafe her death hit us harder as well or we even could have seen some of trubels life like how did she get so good at killing, it can't all have come from her blood so she's been in tight spots often, that would explain why she's the kill first ask questions later type
We also know there are most likely more Grimms out there so if/when we meet a new one, we could have an episode or so showing them and there story maybe while there chasing something in the direction of Portland, then we know there going to run into nick, and he wouldn't need a wesen to tell us there a Grimm like nick needed bring Monroe to show us the viewers that Trubel was a grimm
Nick would then never not be our main guy, we'd just have more of a connection and know more about other characters we've grown to love and they could probably do it in 1-2 episodes so it wouldn't destroy the story lines
