A question here regarding Renard. By the time Adalind makes the decision to go to the mansion with baby Kelly, Renard has already developed a relationship with his daughter. From all accounts, it was a relationship that was beneficial for her, so he must have shown himself to be a good father, at least to her.
Enter Adalind and baby Kelly. Even at the mansion, Conrad was still a very visible threat to baby Kelly. If Conrad had followed through and tried to harm the baby, would Renard have intervened?
