Quote:If the warehouse gets condemned for a crumbling and dangerous foundation, the children aren't going to be living there. If Nick and Adalind insist on them living there, the courts will intervene and take them away. There is nothing about the warehouse that shows it has a dangerous foundation. If anybody has bought property knows it has to be inspected before the sell. The building is zoned industrial so the regulations are even stricter. How can you even make a negative assumption on a building that was just sold.
Quote:I bring up being poor because what you keep trying to say is not appropriate for a child. For many is a way of life. It is the living conditions that would be approved by social services. That Nick has funds and could afford other accommodations does detract from the acceptability of where he is staying.Nick could be worth a billion dollars. That does not mean his place would not be deemed appropriate. would you say the same thing if Nick choose to live in a yurt
Nick isn't poor, don't you get that. That is why your argument has no merit.
people complain about the tunnels. What about people who build million dollar homes in a cavern.
This one has a river that runs through it. and a path down into the caves.
what about people who build tree houses to live in. Would you condemn them for the place being dangerous.
I only use economics because of the poor aesthetics of the place. But then in downtown LA. There are lofts that look like Nicks that sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
