I thought it would be fun to start a thread and find out what everyone is reading and why. If you have reading recommendations, please feel free. I like reading new and different types of literature.
I am a fan of Game of Thrones, not because I saw it and thought I would like it. In fact, I never would have watched it at all. My son recommended it to me. I don't know about anyone else, but children, even adult children, open worlds to us we never knew existed. I am eternally grateful to my kids for the doors they left open to me.
That being said, I am reading the Game of Thrones series. Right now I am reading A Storm of Swords, which is very interesting.
In addition, my sister and I have been kicking around reading some (what I would call) real literature as a way to enrich our minds. She is reading Shakespeare for the first time. (She loves Olivier's interpretations). I decided to venture into something completely new for me, poetry. I am reading New and Collected Poems of Czeslaw Milosz. I confess, I have been reading this book off and on since August, and only got to page 28. His poetry was completely lost on me. However, I am not giving up and began reading it again today. I was reading the poem, A Book In Ruins, and his work started to make sense and have meaning to me, which is what reading is all about.

The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
