Was DG's and BT dating kept low to have no effect on their character development? - dicappatore - 02-09-2019

Does anyone else think, one of the reason for David and Bitsie real world dating relationship was kept hush hush for a while as to not influence our perception of their characters of things to come, good or bad?

Not knowing any real actors personally, most seen to have unstable personal lives, especially in their younger years. When those folks start dating and marrying, usually for a short period of time, it makes the tabloids and is quickly forgotten when they break up. I don't think fans of a show really care if the actors are actually dating/married. When I Love Lucy was on TV people did not seem to care if they were really married and that the kids on the show were actually theirs, only that the parents and kids were acting in the accepted norms of the time. The very real divorce was another matterSad.
