Both Kelly and Diania are half something and half another and they are perfectly healthy and don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t be.
Yes, but I was wondering why/when the original conversation veered in such a different direction. Nick probably didn’t let Juliette go because he’s like most of us - wanting to have his cake and eat it too.

That's the simplest explanation. Therefore, that can't be it.

After all, the writing on this show is on par with Westworld. There are layers and layers of hidden clues. Juliette probably just made some really good bacon. Nick most likely really likes bacon.

Kelly is a mixed breed. His father-Nick- may be half grimm , his father 's linage is unknown. Once again, mixed offspring tend to be healthier, with less generic problems. Isolated human groups tend to look more and more alike and have higher rates of shared generic defects. As we all get older we all get health problems, if you are related to everyone in the town or county, you will have a lot of the same problems as everyone you know and who would probably be your mate.

You're talking about humans. There must be something different about wesen, otherwise there wouldn't be a group out there who are against intermixing the species.

How would there be there are groups against human interracial marriage, people who form hate groups don’t need a reason they are simply bigots, as are the idoits who are against mixed wesen marriage on the show.

We're not talking about humans, but wesen. There may be something medically contraindicative to wesen intermarrying with wesen. We don't know.

RE: Why didn't Nick let Juliette go? - Hell Rell - 02-04-2018

There isn't anything wrong with wesen intermixing. The wesens who are against it are just like human hate groups. It has nothing to do with them being medically compromised. We would've been told about that at any point in the show had that been the case. Nobody in the Wesenrein ever mentioned that as a reason.

I agree, HR, it's just their ignorance that makes them hate things they don't understand.
Life is chancy. When Nick's mom went to the spice n tea shop to talk to Rosalee, she said it best about the fact that not all her decisions have worked out. That was a cool scene.

Oh, well then why weren't the various species of wesen intermixing?

Unflocking believable. Just sitting back and reading all these posts. After all these posts, am I the only one to be able to answer this idiotic question?

"Why didn't Nick let Juliette go?" Because he loved he? Because he was in love with her? Because he kissed the ground she walked on? Duhh!
