Captain Renard.
I've always liked ambiguous, morally grey characters. His background is interesting as well. It helps that his actor, Sasha Roiz, is superb at his craft.

My favorite is Monroe too. The humor reminds me of Whedonverse.

Heh, I think that Monroe probably is the most popular character on the show. Probably even more popular than Nick, the main guy.
With good reason, of course. Monroe and Rosalee are my favorite couple on the show.

The issue with Nick for me is I think he's serious too often and as a result, there isn't enough depth yet to his character. And in many ways, Monroe is the comical relief.

I can't say that I actually actively dislike any of the characters on Grimm. Save for Adalind. She has earned my ire by messing with everyone.

Yeah, Adalind is an evil character. But I've got this feeling that she'll turn good later on the show, and wrestle the line between Good and Bad. We'll see...
