It seemed the group showed a major lack of critical thinking. The first thing the entire group should have been armed with dragon glass swords. The second thing why go on foot. why not take horses in case you needed a fast getaway. Others have and use horses beyond.

Why would Danny not burn the ice around the island. the wights could not cross the broken ice. Jon not getting on when Danny reached for his hand was just dumb. Why would Danny just sit they after seeing the Night King can kill the dragon. Why would Danny wait at the wall. It made no sense she would think Jon had any chance of surviving.

The Night King throws the spear at the Dragon flying instead of the one on the ground.

Jon not getting on Dragon was just stupid. The flapping of Drogon's wings would've gotten rid of any attacking wights. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Jon just wanted to show off for Dany.

The Night King going for Viserion instead of Drogon didn't make any sense either. He could've gotten the biggest dragon and taken everyone out by doing so. The war would've ended right there.

I wonder why nobody told Dany to go for the Night King. I don't know if a dragon can kill a White Walker but it was worth a shot. Viserion was providing cover so that would've left Rhaegal free to attack him. One of the guys could've suggested to Dany to tell Rhaegal to go straight for him. The NK would've probably killed him instead but even that would've made more sense than the NK squaring up Viserion so perfectly.

The NK is unbelievably strong. How can anyone hope to defeat him in battle? Stealth is going to be required. I guess this is where Bran will show just how powerful he is by making some incredible assist to defeat him.
