TVLINE | Diana has aged considerably since the last time we saw her.
GREENWALT | She’s on a faster growth path.
TVLINE | Is that a thing that Hexenbiests normally do?

It was evident to me that she was on a fast track growth rate, so was her mom’s pregnancy and her rate of growth from birth to when she is taken away by Kelly. Also, her intellectual growth was also on a fast track. She was very capable of comprehending Nick's role and importance to her young life.

Her growth spurt must have slowed down as she looked only a little bit older than Kelly in the future scene.

Isn't Adalind the daughter of a hexenbiest and zauberbiest as well? So did she have an accelerated growth spurt too like Diana's?

I think her growth spurs were the result of that cream from the dead Hex she was spreading over her belly and Diana was incubating which in turn made her into a more powerful Hex. BTW did anyone noticed, Diana got her powers at birth and she never voge either.

This sounds suspect. It would make more sense if this was a result of Diana's particular lineage and what Adalind went through before her birth. I suppose that's what they meant but this was never mentioned in the show nor in deleted scenes. It really sounds like some retroactive explanation that isn't backed up on the show. I have no reason to believe Adalind or any other Hexenbiest had an accelerated growth spurt.
