Adalind law firm and Nick - jsgrimm45 - 06-21-2017

We know that Adalind law firm is wesen she at to prove she was still a hexenbiest to get her job back. We seen that Conrad showed up there so, did they have connect with BC?

Now when Nick and Adalind get married what will the law firm think of a Grimm hexenbiest marriage and having a Grimm son?

Just have fun with this thread what would the law firm think? Like Nick walking in to pick up Adalind for lunch? Would they have the boss over for dinner? Would all the wesen hide under their desks? Just an example of things that might be seen.

The boss of Adalind could be dead or be on the side that it's convenient.
The queen bee referred to two "Hexenbiest", not three.

If the law firm wasn't affiliated to BC, I can see Adalind going back. She never mentioned Kelly's father to her boss and I don't see Conrad revealing that little titbit when his plan was for her to be Renard's wife. He wouldn't want Adalind tied to anyone else except Sean. I believe they expected her to leave Kelly behind so she can play happy family with Diana and Sean but then she showed up with her son and prompted Sean to claim him as his own publicly.

I think her relationship with Nick will continue to be under the radar until such a time when Nick does eventually show up to take her out to lunch which is an inevitability for them at this stage. Looking back at Monroe and Rosalee and the trouble they had over their union, I think a wesen and a grimm is probably frowned upon even more so but then hexenbiests are among the more hated wesens in the wesen community if not the most hated and they are also probably the most feared so a grimm and a hexenbiest will illicit fear a lot more than anger (weserein) like we saw with Monroe and Rosalee.

Nick showing up at the firm or Adalind marrying him may make things awkward at the office if the whole office is indeed wesen. Nick is still a grimm and not friends with every wesen in Portland. He's still generally feared. Those who have nothing to fear from a cop who happens to be a Grimm might brush off their relationship as something completely weird but nothing to worry about. If the firm is BC, I imagine the place would be a hostile environment for her work so it would be better to look for work at a different firm.

Nick's killing the crew at the loft would now be part of Portland's wessen lore. No wessen would want to piss off such a stone cold killer-even Conrad is dead, all the wessen were scared of him. Sure, we know Diana /Renard actually did the deed, but they ain't talking. The head lawyer and everyone down to the janitor would try to stay on Adeline's good side, everyone would want to be her Secret Santa.Big Grin Bet her bonuses will be huge, and no one will complain.

Hadn't thought of this idea very good point. Guess you wouldn't want to tick off the wife of a Grimm. DodgyDodgy

I actually didn't think about that either. Nick's reputation as a formidable Grimm keeps growing every time he crosses some bad guy, especially when they are super bad. Anyone would think twice about going after Adalind herself as a hexenbiest but even more so if they knew she was married to the Portland Grimm.

Added to the fact that some things he did not increase the fame of the "GRIMM",she is a "Hexenbiest" and Wesen prefer not to mess with them.

Hi JS,
You seem to refer to Adalind as Nick's wife. Was there confirmation in the show that they were eventually married? If Diana got to decide, then Adalind would have become Mrs. Renard. Yuk! Confused
This tread seem to leave the marriage issue as not resolved.

Just to throw another thought out there, what kind of cases do you think Adalind's law firm handles? Would they handle "wrongful magical" lawsuits for instance?
