I respect your efforts to defend the story, but regardless of your good intentions, you're just providing an excuse for a dopey scene that Greenwalt & Kouf didn't give a damn about while they were banging it out on their laptops.

What journal was Kelly writing in at the end of the series? Was it something Monroe had, or did Nick have one made? If this has been asked, sorry. I couldn't find anything on it.

That's the one. Perhaps the Zerstorer account goes in that book rather than one of the wesen books because it's a "family story."

Which makes you wonder then if what we saw is what really happened or is through Kelly's eyes? If so, did Nick embellish it or for that matter, did Kelly embellish it? It is strange that it would take 20 years before the story got written down.

I am in agreement as well. I think Nick would have recorded something about Zestorer, similar to the other records in his grimm books. I felt it was more of Kelly paying homage to his dad. Trying to let everyone (posterity) know how his father had 'saved' the world.
