They cheated.

1. Suddenly Reinard remembers his mom using the 'fairy dust' on him as a child several times but just 'forgot' about it until now. Where was this insight when the Royals were after Diana seasons ago? Why wouldn't the four going to the cabin not all be placed under this spell?

2. Black Claw: We watched an entire season of these devious, sly and deadly wessin only to get a few lines in episode 12, season 6. of how "they're all gone, destroyed." as if it was so simple to do. They just waved a magic wand and presto, all gone.

3. Truble has a terrible feeling but she magically forgot she could call and check on them. Not to mention she mysteriously knows the 'stick' is important after we've watched how many episodes of the group trying to figure it out. TADA here comes plot hole Truble with intimate knowledge.

4. When the heck did the baby Kelly suddenly become a major point of the plot? Up until now he's been a prop. Then presto again, and suddenly he's integral with no reason given.

5. Nick, who is told the 'stick' is the last piece of the staff puts it in his pocket and instead of getting the heck out of dodge to keep it away from this guy while the team figures out a way to stop him, he goes right to the bad guy. I might add a bad guy who is a lot like Superman and is bullet proof, yet Wu and Hank decide if bullets don't work maybe a gun butt or a fist will work. Their deaths were a sham, a cheat and it infuriates me. It's not as if this guy can drive a car! Pretty easy to get away from him.

6. Juliette (Eve) suddenly just loses her powers after coming through the portal. From what I can tell hexenbeast doesn't just 'scrape' off like dog mess from a shoe!

7. Rosalie is pregnant and until now Monroe has been all about getting her and the unborn babies far away from danger and instead of putting her on a plane and sending her off somewhere safe it's as if suddenly it no longer matters that she's pregnant at all.

8. Where are the Royals? They just magically stopped being a part of the plot at all. Then there's the woman Reinard has been in contact with, you'd think she'd alert wessin in power that something potentially devastating is coming. But nope, she hangs up the call and apparently goes to make herself a cup of tea and a nibble as if this is nothing.

It feels like a cheat. Six years they've put forth a great show and then they just drop THIS in our laps and expect us to be thrilled. I'm so mad I could chew nails.

What sense would trubel have to make such a call?I see better his attitude of returning.
People usually lie on the internet and on the phone too.Nick chose to do as Eve, face the bad instead of waiting, besides the guy was already killing and Nick wanted to prevent something else from happening.

Blaming these problems on the network and not the writers is foolish. G&K were well aware they had only thirteen episodes left to effectively wrap things up before they started writing S6, but they wasted precious time on "filler" episodes anyway.

The Royals? The Coins? Black Claw? They could have all been dealt with one episode at a time, while also setting the stage for the Zerstorer as the show's ultimate "big bad." But the people behind the scripts didn't care. Their minds were already on their next gig.

A Grimmster hit the nail on the head. Even if she is planning to chew it. Tongue

Agree, Hexenadler, the network informed G & K before they even started working on S6, and they chose how to utilize the final 13 episodes. A three-season renewal might have changed S6's story arc, but not G & K's approach.
