What are the thoughts on SHIELD's second episode?

I haven't got around to watching this one yet, but it appears to have gotten a 3.1 18-49 demo rating in the overnight Nielsen's. Last week, it had a 4.7 demo rating. That means the show lost about 33% of its audience that matters. Viewers may want to not get emotionally attached to this show quite yet. Though, I never understand why viewers can't treat single season shows as simply long movies.
