Can and does the relic now protect Nick even if he doesn't have it on him - jsgrimm45 - 01-26-2017

We seen Diana kill Sean's girlfriend now with Adalind having a boyfriend will she try to kill him also? Nick say the relic keeps calling to him, but could it protect him even if he doesn't have it on him?

Now is his need for the relic a good thing or a bad thing. Juliette thinks it is bad but so far it hasn't in and of itself killed anyone it has know only what Nick wanted done. So can it sense the real threat to Nick and stop it even if he doesn't have it on him?

Now granted Diana tossed him across the room in the last episode but she likely didn't have the intent to kill Nick, what might have happened if she did?

And if Nick is connected to the stick, it could be that this act to what he thinks Nick. The Team SERT ended up alive but without memory

Nick could be connected to the stick but for it to protect him, it may have to be in his possession, and not all the way across town.

I do think the stick and Diana could be linked somehow, if big Kelly's words were in fact to be taken seriously and not the ramblings of an old Grimm wanting to take in the most powerful baby on the planet, I'd be willing to say that Nick finding that stick when he did, Diana being passed around so badly from one foster care to the next is part of a bigger agenda at play and that none of it is random.

Hi JS,
It sure seemed that the relic protected Nick from Sean's SERT gang when they surrounded him in Buds's garage. It may have a mind of its own.
IMO, Diana is not sure about Nick. She was not pleased about him looking like Daddy. She did toss him, but I believe she did it to knock the Sean out of him. Nick was done with the Sean hat trick, so he may be pleased that Diana broke him out of that spell. To be safe, Nick better be on the look out for any dolly that bears his resemblance.

Nick found all the needed keys and the stick soon after the wesen council was destroyed. I wonder if the GRIMMs ever gave up any abilities or the use of magical items in exchange for the creation of the wesen council or something similar?

So maybe a trade off hide the relic and we will control wesen with wesen laws. Interesting idea. Now for the next question the relic looks to be controlled by Nick so if one of the Grimm knights also had control does this mean Nick can give it up? Right now it acts like it has a mind of it's own and it wants Nick. So could a Grimm's energy power the relic not the other way around?

One possibility is the stick is pushing events to recreate the wesen council or something else that will control wesen. Diana could lead a new council or Nick could turn into something that gives him more powers to manage wesen affairs.

One theory I have is Grimm bodies create what is needed for magic like vitamin D while wesen have to woge for it.

Has anyone seen anything about when we will learn what is on the cloth??

One of the promos said their was a calendar with a near future date on the cloth.

One theory I have is Grimm bodies create what is needed for magic like vitamin D while wesen have to woge for it. This could make some potions to strong for GRIMMS and that is why is was hard for Nick to turn back.

You could be right but (you knew there was a but) what if it is the other way around. We know the zombie effect didn't work on Nick now the change didn't want to let Nick change back until Diana did it. So could a Grimm's system be that potion and such are because a Grimm all ready has a lot of magic in them?
