I was blown away in the spice shop... up hanging and ringing a rotary dial telephone, that went out in the early 80's and Rosalee and Monroe has a phone that ancient and still works

The spice shop is located in one of Portland's oldest neighborhoods, so I imagine that a lot of things are either grandfathered in or just haven't been upgraded.
In most places in the Portland metro area you can't even get old fashioned landline telephone anymore. Everything is going digital/VOIP.
