Penny Dreadful - Robyn - 12-26-2016
I recently discovered this show, fell in love with it, and was devastated to learn only three seasons were planned. There's not one thing about Penny Dreadful that I didn't like other than it's cancellation.
I would love for this to continue and John Logan head the creative team. Anyone else captivated by Penny Dreadful?

Penny dreadful was a good show but was really really creepy even for tv; inventive and creative but won't last cos of its extreme darkness so 3 season was fine cos I had to stop it too @ early s02.
It's just like Hannibal- it got way too creepy even for tv so 3 season was ok.

Penny Dreadful, Very good show. I loved how She (Eva Green), the lead cast acted her part, beautifuly.
Off topic show - Another is Sense8, an intelligent show, one of a kind show, and well written. By the Wachowski Brothers. When these guys put their mind in a movie or show, wow do they put in thier full minds to make it fun to watch.

The only thing I did not like was the direction they took Vanessa. I would have liked to see her much more powerful instead of the conflicting possession they do with her. It is like they want her creepy but not be a villain. They also want us to feel empathy for her. Vanessa should not be someone you feel sorry for but someone you either fear or admire. I like the first few episode when we did not know what she was. I was coming up with all kind of ideas. I was totally expecting her to be one really strong witch with magical powers.
For me good guy or bad just make them someone you really don't want to mess with. They is why I like Eve. She has shown she can kick ass and take names. She is no joke someone to fear. The scene where she microwaved the guys in the truck. And her showing out in the spice shop. those where my two favorite demonstrations of her power.
