I think Nick dies and a bad end for Grimm people. Nick was supposed to be one of the last of his people. Monroe and Rosalee will work out.

Actually if you watch all the interviews. They agree the viewers will like the ending. It will be emotional. When Jaqueline was asked if it is a fairy tale ending she paused and said yes. She said she read the finale script. Does that mean she is in it. or did she read it because she is friends with the cast and wanted to know how the show ends.
In other interviews it is said that Wu dies in the end. That would make sense. Wu is not wesen and no longer completely human.

Jacqueline says the show takes a lot of risks, surprises and she did a lot of crying reading it. She says Grimm fairy tale endings are dark so the ending is like that.

Yes, she thinks the fans would love it but why would that mean Nick would live. The show is called Grimm and David G has made a point of that possibly Renard or him dying but most of the characters end up living.

Even if they make Sean the biggest bad guy of all the seasons. Having him or any of the major four or Monroe and Rosalee die could not be spun into a satisfying ending. Most viewers do not have a hatred for the characters or view them with the disdain that some of the comments suggest.

The show could easily have him come back as some of non-westen spirit like Star Wars did with Ben. This could easily be the side effect of the reusing the stick.

Characters die all the time in Once Upon a TIme which is based on the Disney version of fairy tales.

In Angel all the main characters died. In Buffy the whole town died. Having one or two major character died should be no surprise.

Why would there be crying at the end if no major character died?

Most of the main characters except for Nick and Renard have been suggested for a possible spin-off too.

I think they cried because it was the end, it probably had nothing to do with what happens on the show.

When Jacqueline brought up reading "The End" she is talking what is happening in the show not about her missing her Grimm friends.

In a show called Grimm with the last show call 'The End' whose end would make the most sense.

A lot of feel good movies have you crying at the end. They send the characters though all kind of turmoil only to have it workout and they are saved at the last minute. Jacqueline did not sound like it was a sad crying. Especially when all of the member who talk about the ending seem to be up beat about it. Clair's take on the ending I found really interesting when she said the ending will remind use why people liked Grimm. I take that to mean Adalind again will be a bad as hexenbiest. This time protecting her kids. It also sounds like Nick and Juliette during happier times. There will be wesen cases they will be working on. We know Hank and Wu are still cops. Sean started as the captain with a hidden agenda. It will end with the captain / mayor having a hidden agenda.

Adalind as a bad hexenbiest cannot help her children. Nick and friends would take Kelly away. Diana is the out control hexenbiest that needs love and patience. The point of season 5 was to show that Adalind had potential to be a good mother why throw that away now.

The children being hurt because of bad decisions that adults make to me is not a happy ending.
