Vandals.they should put him in prison to the one who did it because it could have been worse.part of the forest could have been burned

These things happen a lot in our wilderness preserves. We suspect a campaign to harass users into abandoning the land so the state will sell or lease it to logging companies.
This past year a river valley believed to be totally unspoiled by human activity was discovered deep in the wildest region of state forest land. After some discussion, the consensus was that its exact location should remain secret.
