Liked this episode because of Wu, and how well Hank was now taking things. Was sad that the Dr. had to die to save his wife, but he knew what he had done so it was his way of paying things back. The Adalind Victor thing didn't move much of anything other that setup her and Victor in Portland.

I always found it amusing how well the royals greeted each other. Like Welcome to Portland and then saying thanks for having me things like that. When the each knew the other didn't mean a word of it. They alway smile at each other while planning to stabbing you it the back.

What I found interesting is Adalind's trusting Viktor. After double crossing the Royals why would she think they would ever trust her again. Did Adalind really think Viktor was going to give her Diana instead of taking Diana to the King. If Diana is with the King and the Royals don't trust Adalind. What makes her think they would keep her around.

Hi Forum,
The "Chupacabra" episode had a lot of plot advancement packed in. The WOW was ok and affected Wu to where Hank and Nick must fill him in. The Wesenrein gets worse and Monroe is ready to kill them.
The final scene is where Juliette looks in a mirror and sees herself woge which causes her to scream.

When Juliette first sees her hideous hexenbiest face she screams in horror. But when she first shows her hexen face to Nick she expects him to kiss her. I will repeat myself that no one, not even Nick, can kiss her on the lips because Hexenette has no lips!

The difference is Nick has seen Adalind woge several times. It is not new for him. Juliette had only seen one woge that was when Adalind came to the house asking about Diana. So why should he be shocked at how she looks. Sean and Adalind have no problem with them woged. They are able to kiss. Based on Nick past experiences his reaction to Juliette I find unreasonable. Bottom line Juliette is a hexenbiest accept it, she does. If he has a problem with kissing a hexenbiest. Then why go after Adalind. She has shown she enjoys having sex as a hexenbiest. From what we have seen all wesen seem to have this thing for having sex as their natural selves. Take Sean and Rachael, Monroe and Rosalee. We know the Royals get off on the hexenbiest look. Even Eric regretted he did not get to be with Adalind as a hexenbiest. Unless Nick gets past his hangup he wont be able to be with either one.

Hi Syscrash,
You should also mention that King Frederick said "You're beautiful" when Hexenette woged. If they are attracted by the visage of decaying flesh IMO they have a mental disorder:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrophilia
Quote:Necrophilia, also called thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses. The attraction is classified as a paraphilia by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association.
IMO Nick has a normal and healthy reaction to decaying flesh. That is not a hangup.

By that theory how can Rosalee look at Monroe. She must have a mental disorder to find the big bad wolf attractive. What the Royals find attractive is the power that the woge represents. The more decay the more power. Your entire statement is based on something not fitting in what you consider beauty. Would you say someone has a mental condition because they find beauty in a third degree burn victim.

Even still you argue Nick reaction to Juliette look is normal. Yet you dismiss Nick not having a problem with Adalind decaying face. So does it only bother him if it is Juliette. That is a hang up. Remember Nick had Adalind pinned to the ground in full woge. Close enough for her to bite his lip. She could have just as easy kissed him.

Crash,
Since when did Rosalee ever look like decaying flesh? When was Nick ever attracted to decaying flesh? The mental disorder is Necrophilia, also called thanatophilia. Sean Boy, Freddy and Kenny seem to display such an attraction, but not Monroe or Nick.
As usual the points you post are most bizarre. LOL

New Guy you just can't help but distort facts to make a point.
Your statement was. "The mental disorder is Necrophilia" This is a distortion because the definition of "Necrophilia, also called thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses." Hexenbiest are not dead thus they are not a corpse.
Quote:Since when did Rosalee ever look like decaying flesh
I never said anything about Rosalee liking decaying flesh. I said if beauty is a criteria. Then what about Rosalee looking at Monroee who is the big bad wolf.
As for Nick being attracted to decaying flesh. He may not be attracted but Nick is not repulsed by it. If he was repulsed Adalind would have never got close enough to bit his lips.
Even Meisner when Adalind woged after giving birth. He did not express a fondness. But he did not change the way he was looking at her when she woged.

As far as others that like the hexenbiest look here is a list of characters that have indicated a fondness for hexenbiest.
Catherine
Elizabeth
Stefania
Eric
Viktor
Conrad
The King
Sean

That makes a higher percentage of characters that like a particular wesen then any other wesen. That would make them a majority. but that would be a distorted statement since we do not get a fair sampling of the population. Just showing you can prove anything using excerpts from the show. But taking something out of context does not make it true.

Lots of words, but you did not answer the questions.
