Could Bonaparte be a Royal??? - Kathryn Wooten - 05-03-2016

Could it be possible he is one of the royals from the other 6 houses????

Wouldn't rule anything out, although they have said the royals aren't going to be a thing anymore.

Hmm, that's an interesting question?! The name Bonaparte would seem to indicate that he was a descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte. But, Napoleon was not royal by birth. He was from minor nobility on the island of Corsica.

However, during his heights of power he did make his brothers kings of Sweden and Italy. So, maybe. Who knows. But, I have a hard time seeing the "old school" royals excepting him as one of their own if that were the case. Dodgy

Would be interesting on Bonaparte being related to Napoleon than the writers could use this as a history note on why Napoleon took power. It was really a wesen uprising like Hitler tried (in the Grimm series) so BC is trying again. In another thread on the forum it was debated it Napoleon was after the keys because the 600 years the royals were collecting keys was when he started to campaigns so a wesen uprising would fit with that thread.

Napolean was a usurper in his own time so he and his descendants certainly would not be accepted by the high born old blood royals as one of them, wesen or not. With Grimm painting for us a view of world history in which wesen have been used as shock troops since medieval times, the idea of an attempt (or two or three) to foment a wesen uprising isn't hard to imagine at all. Conrad could be one of the little corporal's descendants, or he could just have adopted the name because it reflects his ambitions.

Yes Napolean believe he was invincible , but he was taken over and left to slowly die in a house with no heat, lots of growing mold..maybe this Conrad Bonaparte, will meet the same fate.... broken, alone and dying a slow death
