Renard and his unresolved daddy issues - Kathryn Wooten - 06-07-2015
Renard no matter how much he claim he hated his father...what was to love about him :He did not protect him from the queen and he and his mother nearly escaped with their lives not to mention his dear ole dad kept threatening him with death if he did not cooperate with the family, also the fact he has to go home in Vienna by hiding with several failed attempts on his life, where the king could ordered them not to lay a hand on his child 1st born perhaps....no nothing like that
no father and son bonding , no baseball games no birthdays or father day fun.....Renard and his mother always has to watch their backs
but......Now his father is dead (whether he ordered it to save Diana we will not know until the fall) but even all the crap his father put him through do you think this would effect Renard emotionally???I can't say that it couldn't on some level, not by breaking down and crying for long lost love they had none...but on some level Renard will still harbor unresolved daddy issues.....I wonder will he go to the funeral ? I know he should go...but it would be to dangerous to go especially if he gains some or if not all of his fathers powers....one never knows I assume the King has a will..and it could possibly state He love his son and when he dies (naturally) he leaves the kingdom to Sean a kind've I am sorry for everything speech will.

I don't see any point of love in any of the royals only power. Sean might have some (very small) regrets but I would think more relief. He know nothing happen that King didn't ok and the King blaming the Queen was just a way to appear not the bad guy. If he had wanted the queen to stop he would have done it but give him an out. He will not try an go to Vienna would be setting himself up to be killed, now more so with power struggle going on.
