Adalind giving up her powers? - jsgrimm45 - 05-10-2015

Why would Adalind give up her powers again after working so hard to get them back? Does she know away to get them back or does she think Nick is more likely to help if she doesn't have them? We also need to note that Henriatta said she couldn't define Juliette's powers so would the potion Adalind took ever work on her? We know that if Trubel use her blood that would open up a way to strip her of her Grimm power would Nick let her take that chance? Why didn't Diana help Kelly we know she could have? I post this on general discussion to see what the Forum thinks of these questions. Dodgy

I think Adalind gave up her powers so she could prove the potion worked. I think that having Diana changed Adalind, and this new baby made her realize that the powers weren't as important as keeping this baby. Nick and co never asked her to test it, and after losing his Grimm I think Nick understood the ramifications of what Adalind did better than he would of before. Since it is not taking away power just suppressing it, I am assuming that it would work on Juliette. She may have needed a larger dose than Adalind since she just took a little. I am wondering about Diana myself since she was definitely protecting Adalind as a baby.

Interesting point Adalind may well want to be a mother more than a Hexenbeist thanks.

I believe our blonde hexenbest has finally turned good. She finally has someone to look after. Will she live tho?

She said that the potion calmed the powers, not removed them entirely. Remember, when she bit Nick, we saw the Hexenbeast spirit leave her--this time, it came out of her body, then went back in.
