This was a bit better. It really captured the old time comic vibe. The villains were delightfully creepy as well.

I agree with Agent 13 on this one. It was a bit better than the pilot episode. But really, in the end this is just shaping up to be another police procedural without anything that yet makes it stand out from the other many such shows on TV. A bit grittier than most, but that's about it.

We'll see how it turns out. But if there aren't some pretty substantial developments in the story line, I don't see it lasting very long.

I actually thought it was a lot better. I know I said a bit but I meant a lot. I really like the old time comic feel!

I think that this show is going to follow multiple threads, yes police procedural as the fundamental scaffolding to hang the stories from, but more a character development piece, looking at the villains, the people and most importantly the Dark Knight himself. This episode had some really good little Bruce stuff and even Selina Kyle has some really good scenes, again suggesting a very long relationship between Bats and the Cat which as a comic book aficionado I very much appreciate. I am however not quite sold on Alfred yet, I really like Sean Pertwee but needs more to convince me he is a good Alfred on the level of a Michael Caine.
