I have this strange theory that the Royal families have extended life, In "Last Grimm Standing" Leo Taymor said that royalty isn't what it used to be the with Renard saying "in the old days I would have had you drawn and quartered." Now he may have been saying that because that's how it went 500 years ago or he was there and remembered it. Then a recent episode his hallucination with Juliette turn very old might mean that he used to love a woman grew old so he left. But that is just my theory. Thoughts?
I really like this show. I liked it last year but I felt that some of the season long story lines moved too slowly. Although you could make that argument this year, too, for the most part I find the season long storylines the best parts of the show. Watched Nameless last weekend and I spend a lot of time thinking about where this show might go.
I have two ideas that could make for a very interesting conclusion to this season and provide a real interesting Season 3.
The first idea has to do with how, or how much of Juliette’s memory comes back, or stated slightly different, how does Nick reveal to Juliette that he is a Grimm. And the second idea is how that affects Juliette’s role in the show next season.
I’ve been waiting for Nick to reveal to Juliette that he is a Grimm since half way through Season 1. He started to at the end of Season 1 just before she went into her coma. So there is a possibility that he ends up telling and explaining to her again. Part of me thinks this is unlikely because they already did this once. But a Nick explanation, complete with flashbacks of Season 1 episodes could make for a good beginning of Season 3, bringing new viewers up to speed. What I think is more likely is that something traumatic happens and Juliette’s memories become available to her. An advantage to this option is that the writers get to avoid a long narrative and the questions that the show has been able to studiously avoid so far, like “is this magic?” and “Are Grimms human?”
I guess there is also the possibility that Juliette doesn’t learn that Nick is a Grimm. I suppose there are a number of ways that could happen. I know from some comments made by fans that Juliette is not that popular among some Grimm fans. So the writers may have Juliette deciding to leave Nick and Portland. The writers could even make that just a temporary situation, leaving the possibility that Juliette comes back. That could make for some additional suspense.
If/when Juliette learns about Wessons and that Nick is a Grimm, how do you think she reacts? I guess she could just freak out and leave Nick and Portland. During Season 1 she showed that she had some really good qualities. She sent that hair/fur to get tested. She learned how to shoot. Could she partner up with Nick? Or, what I think would be real interesting – she could become interested in Wessons. Nick’s interest in Wessons seems to end with what they are and how to kill them. But Juliette is a medical professional. She might be more interesting in helping them.
I’m looking forward to hearing some other fan’s thoughts.

Spoiler :
Finally it's Friday, and a New episode of Grimm is about to air. What do you all think of tonight's new episode?
Quote:At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49. Week to week, "Grimm" is matching its 18-49 rating from one week earlier and is up 1 percent in total viewers (4.951 million vs. 4.911 million), despite last night's special NCAA Basketball competition on CBS. Last night's "Grimm" Built on its lead-in by 100 percent in 18-49 rating and 71 percent in total viewers.
It's the second season and we have yet to find out Monroe's full name. I don't know if I've simply missed it, but I've yet to see what it is. I've looked for it too.
If it hasn't been revealed, then ...
Is it his last name? First name? A nickname? Inquiring minds want to know!
My theory: I think it's his last name. His first name is probably embarrassing, uncommon, or both.
I'd like to see him have a "wolfy" name. Because Monroe is a Scottish name, I could see him with something like "Conall" (a Gaelic name). It means "strong wolf". Names in Grimm tend to be loaded with meaning, so it wouldn't be out of place.
Since we don't have anything on this, what's your guess for his name?
He said during the 1st episode he keeps his Blutbad side hidden and under control. I remember in one episode he changed into his inner self to keep Rosalee safe. He's changed somewhat but when near her he's less harmful.
Can Monroe change somewhat but keep his cool because he's around Rosalee?
what are some of the characters who was only in one or two episodes that you would want to see come back?
I'd like to see that young female blutbad (the one who was in the woods in "let your hair down") come back or at least have her mentioned.
Synopsis: When a mysterious case of sudden blindness causes a woman’s death, Nick and Hank come across a disturbing Wesen that feeds off its victim’s tears. Meanwhile, Adalind contemplates the significance of her new situation, while Juliette continues to work with Rosalee in an effort to fix her memory.
Quote:At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers
overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in
18-49 and is the hour's #1 scripted program among those networks in
all key demographics. "Grimm" built on its lead-in by 75 percent in
18-49 rating and 65 percent in total viewers.
Unfortunately the show's ratings fell compared to last week's episode from 1.5/5 to 1.4/5, and it wasn't the highest rated drama of the night . Blue Bloods on CBS got a 1.7.
Synopsis: The Wesen community is in turmoil when the code of honor is broken. The Wesen code of honor comes into question when Nick, Hank and Monroe discover a series of bank robberies with Wesen using true natures as their disguises. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) finds herself tormented by faint, slowly returning memories that cause her to question her mental state.
Quote:Friday: "Grimm" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 drama of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, decisively out-rating head to head CBS's "Golden Boy" (1.0/3) and Fox's "Touch" (0.7/2).
"Grimm" is up 7 percent versus the 1.4 for last year's mid-season returning episode, which aired in mid January after a much shorter four-week break. Note that so far this season, "Grimm" originals have been growing by 73 percent over these next-day "live plus same day" numbers in 18-49 when Nielsen adds additional time-shifting viewership in "live plus seven day" results (to a 2.86 rating from a 1.65).
Both Grimms and Wesen are very cool, but if it came down to being part of the Grimm world, where would you stand?
Would you be an ordinary human? A Wesen we all know and fear -- or perhaps one we haven't seen yet? Perhaps you would be a Grimm? Or would you be something altogether different?
