This was a good figth between these two but I always got the feeling right from the start of the figth the Boneparte felt pretty confident he had the power to deafet Eve or perhaps that was just his arrogance but in the end he did defeat her.

Henry, did you get the impression the show was a bit chauvinistic by portraying the full male version of a Hexenbiest (Zouberbiest) to be more powerful than its female counterpart? I am excluding Sean, since he was only a half one.

It could be that it would be weirder to find a "sorcerer" than a " witch".
There is nothing that Adalind's father was only a human.But maybe yes, because of the question of egos.
Also from the beginning it was believed that the woman was more given to deal with the devil.

When Boneparte told Adalind he wasn’t like Sean and fully woged Adalind looked truly treffied which suggests to me that full Zauberbiests are on a total different level than a half one like Sean. Renard was also pretty terrified of Boneparte and was literally reduced to begging him to stop chocking Miesner and Adalind. Monrone and Rosalee also seemed shocked he was a full Zauberbiest, all this suggests to me they have a more fearsome reputation than even Hexenbiests but that thier also more rare than Hexenbiests.
