It's never lasted 3 months. 10 people get dropped off in a remote area, with some basic common safety gear, and 10 items that they can choose from a list of about 40 items. Many items are prohibited, like poison, commercial snares, reels, lures, steel traps, firearms, bugnets, bug spray, water filter, lighter. Whomever is last to quit wins half a million $, but the taxman gets half of that.
