Put aside their distaste and plain hatred for Renard???
In El Cuegle ..It does not seem they have much to say according to the expression on their faces when they are in Renard's office.. In several photos Renard look sad, especially when he is at his open office door
Miesner also shows up....maybe He wants Renard to atone for what he did to the scoobies. feel remorse for killing him..... to get a real, I am sorry, Miesner makes Renard admit his true feeling of killing his best friend. OR harder still Renard has to get the scoobies to forgive him .Miesner can rest in peace
First off wouldn't agree that Meisner was Renard best friend. Renard trust no one so he can't have a best friend. Hank, Wu, and Nick will have to blackmail him someway the how is the question. Now if they kept the sword and Conrad's body we have a way.

that would work..but we know that blackmail is not what makes Renard stand down, Renard is free and clear of the murder of Racheal and the evidence he killed Conrad washed down the drain/sink lol
So what changes Renard's mind during/after the fight????

We didn't see the sword or Conrad go down the drain. Maybe the forum is smarter that the writers but I would have kept this as a backup.

If you're Sean Renard, anyone who would save your life in a pinch instead of taking advantage of an opportunity to kill you is probably the closest thing you've ever had or ever will have to a "best friend."

There have probably been a few moments over the past five seasons when Nick was the closest thing Renard had to a friend, yes. Not that that's saying much.
If they were to take Renard back in, what contributions could he make to the gang?

And now they'll never get that back. Renard's gone off the deep end. Even if he's not this season's big bad, his relationship with Nick will never recover. They might tolerate one another because they share the same baby momma but that's only just because Adalind's made it clear she hates Sean.
Renard has never been one of the scoobies. They've cooperated from time to time, but he's never been invited into their sanctums. As far as we know, Nick has never found out that he searched the trailer, they've never told him about it or invited him in, and when they got their hand on more keys they never told him.
