In all the seasons I don't remember the Chief of Police being involved in anything, but now that Renard is mayor will that change? We know Dixon wanted Sean to be the person but we seen that was a fakeout by BC. BC no doubt had their own men lined up to be chief, but likely he is dead or without Conrad pushing Sean now and BC knocked do to size. Sean will be free to appoint whoever he wants.

So now the job may be more in play in season 6 or will they still stay at the precinct level? If they do go with a chief and make it part of the series will it show us anything about what Sean has planned?
