Just found out that FOX has officially greenlit an X-Files revival with original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson! 
FOX will produce six new episodes that will begin shooting this summer and presumably air sometime next year.
Although I wasn't old enough to enjoy the X-Files when it was still on the air, I began watching the show with my roommate last year and finished all nine seasons and the two movies over the course of the school year.
It was such a great show and the chemistry between Mulder and Scully was just absolutely incredible. Glad to hear that those two will be back and can't wait to see six brand new episodes of one of my favorite science fiction shows of all time!!!
