Hello Forum,
Do you recall in 4.20, "You Don't Know Jack" that Hexenette nearly killed Monroe, then laughs about it. She never showed any regret. So why was FrankenEve invited to Monroe's birthday party in 6.07, "Blind Love?" Then as if that was not absurd enough, the potion causes Monroe to to have blind love for her. Barf!
Sure, invite Renard to dinner. Maybe he will sell one of you for body parts, fight to death in a cage. Maybe even arrange to kill your mother. Did you invite Mom?

Do want a simple answer or a more complex one. I only have the simple GUILT for their part in what happened to Juliette. Just trying to bury the hatch. As for Monroe and Eve, look at Nick and Rosalee, again simple answer they each had know the other the longest, so friendships became love.

I'm pretty certain Renard will be invited to family dinners. People get over all types of crazy things very quickly on the show and the finale had burying the hatchet written all over it. It really started with the lame ghost Meisner.
For Diana's sake, Renard will be invited and it helps that Nick remembers he died protecting not just his own daughter but Nick's son as well as Adalind although everyone but Nick and Diana have any recollection of that harrowing night.

Hi JS,
The Scoobies did feel "guilty" about Juliette becoming Hexenette. However, they did not force her, coerce or even beg her to smoke the hat. She did it to allow Nick to regain his Grimm, confront the Wesenrein, save lives and defeat evil. She knew there could be "side effects."
Her initial reaction was anguish. She screamed at her visage as a hexenbiest. As she learned of her new powers she turned to rage, violence, murder and mayhem. She got thrown in jail and made it clear to Nick and Rosalee she liked her power. She launched her reign of terror until Nick announced that she should be killed. None of the Scoobies disagreed. At the end of season 4 she had become the most evil character with the most GUILT for heinous acts of violence. IMO, the Scoobies had paid in full and were guiltless.
Although Trubel killed her, G&K brought her back as FrankenEve, HW's killing machine. Although confronted about the vile crimes she committed, she blamed it all on Juliette as if Nick, the Scoobies and we the viewers are imbeciles.
Inviting her to Monroe's birthday party was either a total mistake, or done out of fear she would retaliate in some way.
Similar reasoning applies to Sleazy Sean. When did he ever show remorse for all the vile acts he committed? He only acted in his best interest without regard for laws, ethics or morals. He was consistently the show's self-serving SOB.

This is true.
Even with Diana on his side. Daddy Dearest needed to be taken out. His torso needed to be separated from his head. He has many degeneratives to answer for.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
Yea, the show doesn’t dwell on anyone’s past unless it’s specifically used for woe-is-me Nick drama. It wouldn’t make sense for Renard to be the only one to remain an outcast. And he may be a heartless bastard, but until he was dumb down for S5, Renard avoided retaliation because he was an expert at manipulating and using those around him.
I don't get the warm fuzzies from Renard but I respect his skill and fortitude to use it to his advantage.
