I mean, Adalind has surprised me. She sacrificed her hexenbeist in order to see if a potion would work to cure Juliette. She's been working with the Scooby's and have been completely honest with her advice. She helped Nick and the rest by planting that head in Kenneth's hotel room. She seemed sincere when she said that she was sorry for Kelly's death. She even names her baby after her. In this season, she seems concerned for Nick. She states that she worries for him. And in a weird way, they confessed to each other that they were each others "first". Meaning, that she was the first Wesen Nick has ever seen and he was the first Grimm she's ever seen. She needs Nick to sleep in the same bed with her. So, it looks like the writers are headed in that direction as far as a romance is concerned.
Too bad it's a romance that completely undermines and corrupts everything we've come to know about these characters up till now.
This whole series corrupts characters. I mean, look what they did to Juliette in just a matter of a couple of episodes. I think that the only characters that haven't done a 180 throughout the show is Wu, Hank and Bud. I'm not going to list Rosalee and Monroe because it's talked about that Rosalee will deal with her addictions again and put a strain on her marriage to Monroe. so, that's something to look out for.
The only constant in life is change and the same can be said for Grimm . They are only human/near human , they can be tempted and they can falter. I love the fact that Nick is pretty much acting normal because tragedy is just part of his life now . Yes , the characters change but everyone does and I think that's what makes the show so relatable.
