I think the half zauberbiest was not a taught out idea. It was introduced so they could have have half royal and half zauber biest. Except Royal is not a species. What is really going to through a wrench in this is Diana. By the shows genetic logic she is only a partial hexenbiest. Yet she is shown stronger the Adalind who is described as full hexenbiest. So what does being a full hexenbiest buy you. I think they should have described Sean as a Royal Zauberbiest. Instead they painted them selves into a corner and are now stuck. Not the first time. In season one Nick's a Grimm who died. They changed that genealogy logic. Royals had four keys, they changed that with Nick finding three keys. It started needing the seven keys. Now it is knowing the spot and a set of lock picks.
