A little spirited debate about the nature of things doesn't hurt either, eric (IF that's really your name, haha.) And how do we know that you're not person of interest in all this intrigue, after all, no one really knows where you were when the latest secret meeting to conspire against everything took place.

Shining Path-Peru=coke, FARC-Columbia-coke again, Taliban after the start of the current war-heroin, IRA-bank and other robberies. Many people up and down the economic ladder support these types of movements, but most of the cash comes from crime.
Seriously, point well taken. And most of your examples seem to fall into a category of revolutions arising by oppressed populations overturning the governing of their country; such events usually result in another oppressive regime replacing the one displaced, unfortunately, but that's another conversation. In the case of drug or other illegal cartels attempting to dominate or to control their countries or territories, that only happens to kind of third-world places where modernity hasn't been embraced, imo. But the Russian Revolution was truly one of a people who had been exploited for centuries by every type of ruling class, and the sad part was the same scenario seemed to have been played out in that case. I admire the Russian people for their resilience; speaking of the country now, not its leadership. Guess I'm agreeing with you about crime factoring into a movement, but it doesn't have to necessarily cancel out the involvement of a group such as the Royals or the BC.

Who will have paid Tony? Conrad , maybe
Boy, deep thoughts about motives, but it made me do some research because I couldn't remember about Tony. Old Bendy Fingers is still around, I think, wonder if we'll see him this season. And I agree with you, he seems to be your standard societal fringe malcontent. One who is often drawn to a group revolting against something in the status-quo of things. Not really a true believer. So now he's a enforcement tool and probably was paid by Conrad.
That charismatic speaker at the meeting Monroe attended would draw his type to the fold, but other just plain good wesen who could see the appeal of throwing off the yoke of living in the shadows, would also become part of BC. Even when we consider these things, a movement is not a movement without strong leadership at the top. Most posters feel BC is a rather parochial movement, and it does appear to be localized now. I'm merely saying that in the beginning it was presented as a global threat. The Royals could still benefit from wesen doing the work of organizing if it could convince BC that they are their best chance at success. But I really don't think that's the case.
