Now royal blood has to do with anything is a good question. Guess you have to go along with the fairy tale part of Grimm. He did have to take the pure of heart potion and Nick did also to clear up Juliette and his problem.(01-26-2016, 01:07 PM)jsgrimm45 Wrote: So these episode in season three start us on the road to Eve. With all the potions used on Juliette was any of this need to get to Eve or only season 3? In potions group the following: Juliette coma, royal kiss to wake her, potion to end her and Sean, than the potion to get Nick's Grimm back. Were these also Synchronicity at work? Thoughts idea?
The events in episodes 3.17 & 3.18 aren’t necessarily a direct cause of Juliette becoming a Hexenbiest, but rather, those events set Juliette on the path to taking part in the spell to reverse the effects of Adalind’s spell to take Grimm’s Nick powers.
If episodes 3.17 & 3.18 didn’t result in Kelly, Nick, Sean & the others taking Diana and telling Adalind that Viktor had her, then Adalind wouldn’t have had reason to take Nick’s Grimm powers. And if Nick didn’t lose his powers, he & Juliette wouldn’t have done the reversal spell.
If I understand the episodes correctly, Juliette basically became a Hexenbiest because the reversal spell temporarily turned her into Adalind. So based on that, if someone who wasn’t a Hexenbiest took Nick’s powers using the same spell, then Nick & Juliette reversing the spell wouldn’t have turned Juliette into a Hexenbiest.
I think, based on the episodes, it all hinges on Adalind being a Hexenbiest and Juliette temporarily becoming Adalind in order to reverse the spell.
That said, if Adalind used her blood in concocting the potion/spell that put Juliette in a coma, then maybe that changed Juliette in some way and made it easier for her to later become a Hexenbiest.
Side note: You mentioned royal kiss in your list of potions used on Juliette. If I remember correctly, Sean being of Royal blood didn’t matter. Adalind’s Mother concocted a potion that made him temporarily pure of heart so his kiss could break the spell and wake up Juliette.
