I don't find that strange. I've shipped international before and put the insurance as much larger than what I sent/shipped depending on what it was. That's never been an issue either. I have shipped personally and for company. I don't think it's a big deal.
In regards to the other I already stated: I really thought he said "yes" ...
Again, a faux pas? Perhaps. I don't see them going "gosh, we really need to address the trunk and how he shipped it and why the insurance was more on the trunk and where it went to and who has it now" let's get Scotland Yard/Interpool involved. She's dead. Felix is dead. The trunk is gone perhaps other things too (from the home) and chalked up to robbery. I just don't see an Agent showing up going "Monroe, do you have a trunk that your uncle shipped over because he was only appraising it and the state owns it since he had no will"
Otherwise, you're just trying to school me on that episode with what I view as non-important issues. In my opinion. Not being mean, I just don't think they are worth time or relevance on the bigger picture and where the show is going. To me it is fluff and more of something I would read in a book to add more volume/background/pages to a manuscript since I can't see it and have it conveyed to me.
As for the "size" of the trunk I took/take that more in the importance of there being a hidden compartment. Nothing more and nothing less.
Could I be wrong. Sure. I just feel like it's not going to be revisited and not a big deal in the long run. If it comes out in a future episode I would be surprised yet I as I won't be upset either since I said "I could be wrong" ... anywho
