Gang,
I was reflecting on GRIMM while playing goldfish (footnote #1) as one has to do something to relieve the tedium. As I have mentioned, GRIMM has done an excellent job of setting the stage (see footnote #2) of the wesen/Grimm world. Creating a fantasy land that is now defined and yet so very open. While I do not see a future series for any of the current characters as appropriate I do think the concept could have a future in the form an occasional network based 2 hour movie.
In this case I think it would be appropriate to simply carry on the fictional concept of wesen and or GRIMMs without the current cast. I actually think a 2 hour episode of a non-GRIMM LEO having to solve a wesen related crime who stumbles into the world of wesen would be interesting . We have seen that to an extent with both Hank and Wu to an but I still think there is an unexplored richness there. And of course getting to see and explore how more integrated wesen act in society could be interesting as well. The possibilities are endless.
As I said, the party does not have to end. It seems to me, that if the numbers are there a few network specials would be the most likely and appropriate route forward.
My thoughts...
Izod.

#1 playing goldfish: my affectionate term for the mind numbing nauseous boredom I experience while swimming my daily 1.25-1.5 miles in a 25 yard pool - trust me, it is mental anguish - no wonder goldfish leap out of their bowls.
#2 While I do not think it was international on the writers part, the lack of detail in terms of defining Hexenbeist and GRIMM interactions and wesen genetics certainly allows for a lot of latitude going forward in terms of plot lines.
