I know I'm off topic here. But, when was the last time Hollywood put out an original and good film? Some TV shows still have some originality, but most films are sequels, remakes, or rip offs of lame old TV shows and comic books. Hollywood is very close to the point of artistic bankruptcy.
The problem of course, is the whole "franchise" deal. No one wants to take the risk of doing original work when they can slap the "Star Wars", "Transformers", "Marvel", etc.. logo on something knowing they'll get a bunch of adolescent idiots (Sorry for being redundant.) to shell out Mom and Dads' money to see the dreak!
When was the last time Hollywood released a film that anyone over the age of 15 would actually be interested in watching?
