LoL.
I think this goes to show how our emotions can warp our judgment - something to pay attention to.
I guess you missed the scene before Rosalee and Monroe's wedding when they both looked at the open drawer with the engagement ring. They both looked at each other and Juliette made a comment about, one wedding at a time. I call that another rejection. Not to mention the other time she opened that draw and looked at it. If she had taken it and went to Nick with it. Do you think he would have said no? In a sense, that another rejection.
It might be a tradition for a man to propose, but it is not a rule. Nick did propose, she rejected it because she claimed he kept secrets. Well, before she became a Hex, there were no more secrets. She was in-the-know. In with the gang. The ball was in her court. Nick was a Grimm, not a mind reader. If she wanted to marry him, it was up to her to bring it up, if she wanted to, if she was ready.
She still tried to accuse him of infidelity when she looked at his emails about his medical tests results an saw his email from his mom signed "Love M". She questioned his infidelity a few other times. You know what they say when one partner is constantly questioning the other about being disloyal? It is usually due to their own betrayal. She knew what his answer would be. Obviously, she did not wish to marry him. Obviously in the end, we see whom betrayed whom.
