OK, about all this controversy on who’s what dad at which kid? In the end, we clearly see Nick and Adalind are a couple. There is no doubt on that. As for Diana and Kelly and who is calling whom “DAD”? Let’s break it down.
Diana has a natural father, Sean. She will always call him “DAD”. Kelly has a natural father, Nick. He will always call him “DAD”. The common denominator is Adalind. If Adalind is living with Nick? As most remarried couples, that has shared custody of a child, Diana. She will be living with Nick part of the time and be with Sean part of the time. In most cases, she will end up calling them both “DADS”, with the occasional introduction of Nick as being her “STEP DAD”
Kelly has no blood connection to Sean. As we have determined that Adalind is living with Nick and has shared custody of Diana. When Diana goes to be with her dad, Sean, as part of the shared custody. Can anyone state, WHY THE FUCK WOULD KELLY BE PART OF THE “SHARED CUSTODY”? Where he would end up with Sean when Diana went to be with her natural father. Sean has no legal grounds or the personality of taking in someone’s else kid. His persona is barely able to accept his own kid Diana, let alone her step-brother, Kelly.
There is no way, I can see, where Kelly would join his step-sister at Renard house when he had Diana as part of his shared custody plan. Unless Sean agreed to maybe, baby sit Kelly for the Burkhardt’s. This is WHY, Kelly would never, ever be calling Sean “DAD”! There is no reason for it. He is living with both of his natural parents, Nick and Adalind. He is not a product of a broken home, Like Diana, which ended up with a dad and also living with a step-dad. As far as Kelly is concerned, He has, one mom, one dad. Period!
Unless we can determine that Adalind was living with Sean, then the reverse would apply, Diana would have a dad and Kelly would have a dad and a step-dad. Given these facts, we can debate whether Diana would call Nick, dad or not. There is no debate if Kelly would ever call Sean ‘DAD”. He has no reason to do so!
Is this so hard to figure out? Is it really so complicated to comprehend?
