But somehow some detractors manage to compare his romances with being a sleaze, that does not compute.
There's a numerical chance in favor of his being a bit shady, there's a snowball's chance in hell that he's a boy scout, wouldn't bet a brass farthing that he tells the truth all the time, and some have reason to not trust him as far as they could throw him, but here's a statistic I like: there's a 100% probability that he's got style, charm and appeal - imo, of course.
Well speakeasy, I love you to death. But I'm going to have to disagree about Renard. He was bopping Adalind and her mother! The Freudian implications of that boggle the mind!
Right back at 'cha, wfmyers1207, but consider this. Hope I've got this straight, but I truly think I'm correct in saying he and Catherine had a thing back in the day; think she brought up the subject to him as a form of background narrative for the viewers, and she seemed to be a little alright with the prospect of picking up where they left off, but it didn't happen. I really am going to check out my facts about that, but think I've got it generally right.
I recall that Adalind was enamored with Renard in the first season, indeed, he seemed to string her along to get her to do his bidding. But I think their first encounter was when she seduced him after she had picked up with Eric. Fact check going out on that, too. At any event, her relations with him came a good deal after her mom's, imo.
I will concede that he's had more sexual liaisons than the other characters have. See, I'm a big fan, and it doesn't hurt anything if I am in my book, but I have no illusions that most others see his behavior in a very negative light. Don't know why, but I've always been understanding of his ways, I don't claim to be right, quite the opposite, because I usually include a sentence or two about his infractions in my posting! For this fan, it's enough to be able to really get immersed with characters in a book, a movie, a play, or a t.v. show, simply because it's fun.
It will serve me right for going ahead and opening my big mouth without checking my facts, if I misspoke I'll get caught; there are too many sharp posters around here, and I'll be literally (as in literature) pilloried. Sounds painful, but it rhymes, haha.
But I forebear.
