The 'Claire Coffee and David going at it on set' comment was super awkward. I can only imagine that Super Dave didn't know that Bitsie and DG are engaged, or that Claire is married. Otherwise, it was uncalled for.

Very, very awkward. I cringed through the whole thing. Poor David and Bitsie.
I'm hoping this guy doesn't know they're engaged in real life, it does happen that people don't follow the private lives of the actors of a show they like. I've seen plenty of comments on Facebook of people expressing their surprise that these two were together in real life. (04-29-2017, 10:49 AM)rpmaluki Wrote: Very, very awkward. He probably didn't know, I didn't know they were together until this year when I saw a comment on the Grimm Facebook page that they were engaged and people were surprised. I admit I was surprised. But that interview was so very awkward.

I wouldn't have known they were together if I didn't come to this forum. I used to watch Dexter and I didn't know Dex and Deb got married in real life until they got divorced. House had two cast members engaged and I didn't know that until years later.
As much I'm a fan of the show, I didn't really know the status of any of the cast unless someone post it here and I usually don't pay attention to it. I know Hank was married four times nut I have no idea what's going on with Russell Hornsby. That being said, I'd don't know if this guy's a huge fan of Grimm or just a casual who got assigned this interview.

David Giuntoli & Poppy Montgomery (Julie) To Topline CBS Drama Pilot ‘Mission Control’. Poppy Montgomery is married with 3 young children. Is that good news for Bitsie Tulloch or does it not matter?
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.

It shouldn't matter to Bitsie. The nature of shipping fictional characters should not affect real life couples in this day and age because it's become an unavoidable hazard of the industry they are in. It's only an issue if the actors are treated as if they are extensions of the characters they play. This interview would have been much more disturbing if Dave Raines was pushing for David and Claire in real life instead of their characters on a show. I mean it's bad but it's not THAT bad.

When I was first watching Grimm, I did not realize how far away Nick was from David Giuntoli in temperament. After I started watching the behind the scenes Grimm clips, I realized it was usually surprising easy to tell if David was acting as Nick or not. David is a light and funny person where his whole face is part of his expression just like it is with Bitsie T. While Nick is way too serious and his face under total control.

Yes, David is the complete opposite of Nick who's very uptight and reserved.
