I think it's Meisner or Trubel.
No, I don't think it's Meisner or Truble. A lot of stuff out there is just rumors or red herrings. But pretty much one thing they agree on is that it will be a series regular. And M and T haven't been. After all, those characters have only been seen in 26 episodes. I'm leaning toward Hank, Wu or Eve.
No way will it be Rosalee or Monroe. Nick may be the lead character, but those are the 2 characters on the show that everybody loves.
It would be like what the show "Castle" is doing by cutting Stana Katic and Tamala Jones from the cast. That show is as dead as a door nail. The show runner's might as well have just said it was over, given everyone their pink slip, and called it a day.
Another thing I forgot to mention earlier is what if something like that is where the "perilous" thing about the relic comes into play?
Nick used the relic to inadvertently heal Monroe, but maybe it takes something from the user as well. Using it to heal a sick or injured person might take a little out of the user, but trying to bring back the dead might mean they have to give up their life to do it.
This is hardly an original plot line. It's been used in many stories over the years. When a person uses magic to heal, the further gone the victim is, the more "life force" the magic takes from the user. Meaning they may have to give up their own life to save the life of another.
I've seen that plot line in a dozen or more sf&f novels, shows and movies over the years
