Very evocative title. Sounds like a lot of s*** is going to go down.

Wasn't there a movie Eve of Destruction, about a women who was a type of weapon? I know there was one that was with Eddie Murphy that's not he one, but remember one in the 70"s or 80"s? Could be wrong.

Hopefully this is a hint about things will be unraveling on a bigger scale in S5, like the showrunners have suggested in the past. I've always wanted to see the ramifications of the Wesen being publicly exposed to the world.

You occassionly see it on late night tv here in the States. The title character was played by Renee Soutendijk. A Dutch actress who played the role more roboticaly than an actual robot would have. The less said about Gregory Hines as the heroic cop, the better. Don't waste your time.

The name stayed with me but the movie didn't.(10-07-2015, 03:18 PM)jsgrimm45 Wrote: Wasn't there a movie Eve of Destruction, about a women who was a type of weapon? So basically she has Juliette's memories without Juliette's emotions.
"But to keep my word, [Juliette] is dead. She’s coming back, but it’s not really Juliette anymore. It’s this new character, Eve, who has not been brainwashed exactly, but she’s been through some incredibly tough training where they broke her down to nothing. She’s basically a super Hexenbiest weapon for Hadrian’s Wall to fight Black Claw." http://tvline.com/2015/12/11/grimm-bitsi...turns-eve/ So Bitsie Tolluch is still a series regular. Grimm, you've lost me. If you wanted to do a Juliette/Eve and Nick have to fall back in love plotline, you really shouldn't have pulled that stuff with Adalind for 5 episodes. Like what's the point? They've basically made her the old Juliette - no powers, sitting at home worrying will the badasses fight. Now that includes Eve. They didn't need Adalind for a baby/moving in storyiine with any romance. I can already tell how predictable this route is. Nick's love and Juliette's feelings for him will break through the hard shell of Eve and they will fall back in love. Huzzah.

Adalind has so much better chemistry with Nick, plus their relationship is actually interesting. My only hope now is that (fingers crossed) maybe I'll get to see her die again. |
