It was said on the televised funeral of Eric that he was 2nd in line for the crown. So who is first? Victor's mother or father? So there is a royal we have not heard of or seen?
It's Viktor He would appear to be heir apparent ...but That could be in question , since He left under mysterious circumstances , when the king took over and Viktor was presumably sent back home escorted by 2 men did he go home??? or did the king have him killed for being so slow getting results about Diana.

Lou said the actor playing Viktor quit. So if they bring him back will have to be some other actor. King said the families granted a great deal of power to him. I took it that he run things day to day but not in line for the crown.
I hate spoilers, but I thought that the Victor thing would be kind of minor so I looked up on IMDB, the actor, Alexis Denisof, who plays Victor. He is on a show called Finding Carter. He appears to be a regular. S2E9 is on tonight on MTV. So, filling in some dots.... The filming of the shows might have over lapped. When he suddenly left he may have had to start the filming of Finding Carter. And Finding Carter is filmed in Georgia. Or at least part of it is. So it might have been too hard on Alexis to get from one show to the other.
If he left Grimm on good terms, its possible that he could be back and make some "guest appearances". Especially during the beginning of the season, assuming that the filming schedules don't overlap. Its also possible that he plays his role from Vienna ( a convenient soundstage) without interacting with any regular cast members. Or he could even be just a voice on the phone (ala charlie in charlie angels).
Minion: King Victor, I'm putting you on speaker phone.
King Victor: Hello, Angels. Its time to get our revenge on Detective Burkhart.
Angels: (all woge) Growl.
King Victor: Bring me the Insert Here : keys, or Diana, or Grimm's head!

In the off season Lou is anything a spoiler? As King he wouldn't be seen much he'd have a Victor of his own.
To me, if you go to IMDB and find out that an actor has taken a part in another show - its like cheating.
But Victor is somewhat minor and like I pointed out in my speculations - just about anything is possible.
So I didn't feel like I was giving away anything important.
