FaceInTheCrowd That would be the scenario if Grimm was meant for the viewer to feel good. G & R have said many times. Their intent to to cause as much pain and grief in the characters as they can. That is why as soon as we start to feel good about a character and start to have hope for the character. The more grief they put them through. Take hexenette she gained her powers. was shown she could protect herself, be an asset, no longer be a victim. What did the do, they put her through the wringer attacking every aspect of what would cause her any amount of happiness. You can not doubt they have caused Nick more grief then any character on the show. Every time he seems to have a moment of happiness they pull the rug from under him, continuing to kick him while he is down. He goes through the losing Juliette again, what do they do they kill his mom. They give him Adalind and Kelly then take it away, and make him a fugitive.
But that is what the show is, That is why it is called Grimm. everyone life is as grimm as it can get. That being said then ending is going to be really really dark. If we don't feel an extreme amount of pain. G & R will not be doing their job. They already said in comic con they where planning on causing grief. Now they they don't have another season to worry about. They can do horrific things to the characters.
